Starting fresh in a new school district can feel both exciting and overwhelming. This session will help attendees reframe the thought of “I’m not ready” into “I belong here” when pursuing (and getting!) new job opportunities. We’ll discuss making a smooth transition into a new district—what to do (and avoid) as you learn the culture, workflows, and dynamics of your new role. Attendees will also gain tools to ask questions with confidence, find their voice at the leadership table, and overcome the ever-present imposter syndrome—leaving with valuable tools and reminders that you are more prepared than you think.
