About the Presenters:
Jacqueline Dillard has a passion for creating and telling stories, which can be traced back to her pre-professional days. She believes an organization's greatest strength is its ability to tell its story and enjoys capturing the essence of the people in an organization and helping them share their work. Jacqueline has eight years of public relations, marketing, and communications experience. She has built a solid portfolio in and out of school public relations. In 2018, she transitioned from the private industry to school communications at one of California's seven single-single school districts and county offices of education. In 2020, amid the pandemic, she joined the Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) team as the Communications Officer and now serves as the Director of Communications. She's won multiple national and state awards for her social media, strategic communications, and crisis management work. Mrs. Dillard holds a bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Davis, and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from National University. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2022 and has used her experience and knowledge to help her organization build connections, affirm values and help the community.
Kris Cosca has dedicated his career to public schools for 30+ years as a teacher and administrator. Most recently, he served as superintendent of a 7,500-student district in Northern California. Since leaving the superintendency, Kris has focused on meeting the marketing needs of public schools with Target River and executive coaching through Next Level Leadership Services.
