Conference Call Back Webinar: The Opportunity of a Crisis: How HR and Communications Teams Can Work Together to Build Trust and Support In Difficult Situations

Wednesday, January 31, 2024 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (PST)

Description

Deftly communicating difficult news is something that both Human Resources and Communications teams deal with every day, but it’s not often you find them housed in the same department, working side-by-side on tough internal and external communications. An Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Communications Director will share pointers on how your district team can garner lasting support from unions, staff, and the community through relationship-building, transparency, and a seamless communications protocol. Learn how every crisis presents an opportunity to build trust and confidence in your team and how the right communications and interpersonal strategies can help ease you through a crisis, and help you to empower employees to serve as ambassadors for your district messages and brand. A Q and A will follow the presentation and participants are encouraged to bring their tough internal communications/human resources questions and concerns.
