September 2025 CalSPRA Board Meeting Summary
At the recent Full Board meeting on September 5, CalSPRA leaders discussed several key updates and initiatives to enhance the organization's programs and governance. The meeting began with welcoming new regional chairs and a recap of a successful fiscal year that saw over $71,500 in net revenue. The board approved new policies to streamline operations, including a requirement for additional review of all personal reimbursement claims over $500 and a new, staggered approach to regional chair term limits. Members also discussed various program initiatives, including an update on the awards submission process, growing interest in the mentoring program, and the launch of a new book club with over 100 participants.
