The CalSPRA Extended Board met via Zoom on June 5, 2026, to welcome new leadership, review organizational updates, and plan for upcoming initiatives. Here are the key takeaways from the meeting:  

-Welcome to New Chairs: The meeting opened with a warm welcome to our newly appointed committee chairs as they step into their roles to support CalSPRA's strategic goals.  

-Committee Updates: Committee leaders shared rapid-fire updates on current initiatives and upcoming pipelines across core areas, including Volunteer engagement, Partnerships, Communications, Regional events, and Mentoring.  

-Specialized Workgroup Initiatives: Updates were provided on critical focus areas driving the profession forward, including the APR program, the Ambassador Group, the AI Group, the Legislative Group, and the Scholarship Program.  

-Financial & Operational Health: Treasurer Rob Meszaros presented the latest cash flow report, confirming the association's steady financial position. Additionally, Executive Director Trinette Marquis delivered the ED Report, and leadership shared updates on CalSPRA’s presence and activities at the upcoming NSPRA seminar.
