OC/IE Professional Development Day

Description

The OC/IE Professional Development Day, hosted by the Orange County Department of Education, will bring together communications professionals from across the Orange County and Inland Empire regions for a full day of learning, collaboration, and connection. This event is designed to strengthen our collective capacity to serve school communities through timely, strategic, and human-centered communication. Attendees will engage in four breakout sessions covering crisis communication, community engagement, social media strategy, artificial intelligence, emergency response, storytelling, and more—each session crafted to deepen skills and build meaningful connections with colleagues across the region. United under the theme Connection, this day will foster shared insights, inspire new approaches, and reinforce the powerful impact communication professionals make every day.
